+ myPhone + myCar
Hughes Telematics are headed in the direction of cars being contr0lled by the owner through their cell phone. (Do you get the title now?) They hope their next generation will come out 2010 and the cars would allow the drivers to install programs into it. Other applications by Hughes include starting a car, resetting its alarm or unlocking the doors with an iPhone. The commands could be sent through the car using the Internet. Cars equipped with a security system would catch car-jackers and even take a picture of the criminal.
How sweet is that? It's so cool -- I mean, awesome. I would totally buy a car like that.
But i don't have my driver's liscence...*sniff
I can't wait to see it in 2010.
