+ Fear Facebook?
A guy named Bryan Rutberg had his facebook status changed to "Bryan NEEDS HELPS URGENTLY!!!" His friends seeing this message sought to help him, asking what happened and what he needed. One friend received a message back saying that Bryan was robbed at gunpoint in London and needed money to get back to America. So him being such a good friend, gave $1,143 to London to get his friend back home.
But Bryan wasn't in London. He was at home in Seattle. (LOL)
His friend was so disappointed when he found out that he was tricked by some fake-identity guy. (Bryan didn't feel so hot either, so hey.) But in the end, the bad guy was thought and I'm not going to say who he is because it's quite disturbing.
I think that if i was in that situation, I would be scared. I think it happened to my friend one time. Her status got changed from 'single' to 'in a relationship' and we were all whaaat?
But never mind that, it's not really the same.
Still. For all you facebook people (and I''m one of them ;P), watch out.
