+ iVideo

"CBS is taking the iPhone where no iPhone has gone before.
Today, it released an iPhone application for its TV.com site that can play full episodes of TV series, ranging from “C.S.I.” to the original “Star Trek.” While Hulu, a rival video site owned by NBC and Fox, has kept its content only for computers connected to the Web, CBS has been far more open with its own content.
All sorts of video have been on the iPhone from the beginning by way of its YouTube application and its ability to play podcasts (which now can be downloaded over a wireless connection). The application for the Joost service can play some episodes from CBS and other producers’ series. NBC tried a special Web site
set up to stream episodes of a few of its series for the iPhone."

Wow, iPhone is upgrading in a lot of things. TV episodes, videos, might as well call it the iVideo (thought of it myself, yeah). See, this is why i want an iPhone. For all of you iPhone users, I ENVY YOUUU. :<
I always see new news about the iPhone and it makes me even more sad. D: I really want an iPhone.

+ Japan Hates iPhones

I thought nobody would hate the iPhone, but apparently Japan does! That's weird. I just did a post saying that Japan was giving out free iPhone. (Heh, maybe to get rid of it..?)
Anyway, here are the reasons why Japan hates the iPhone:

1) The high cost per month.

2) Lack of features. 'Japanese handset users are extremely into video and photos — and the iPhone has neither a video camera nor multimedia text messaging.'

3) The camera sucks compared to what Japanese people are used to.

4) Sucky design compared to what Japanese are accustomed to. According to the article, “carrying around an iPhone in Japan could make you look pretty lame.” :O

5) It’s not of Japanese origin. Motorola and Nokia haven’t been able to sell phones in Japan either.

Now the Panasonic P905i is a phone Japanese people would buy. Check out this video:

This phone is pretty cool--and the screen can flip! It was last years model and -- guess what -- they say that this is a typical phone in Japan. :O That is soo awesome. I wish I lived in Japan. Then again, maybe not.

+ Thumb-Typed Book

Yume-Hotaru's wrote his first novel and it was a best-seller in Japanese bookstores. And-and get this, he wrote it entirely with his thumbs. He started it in 2007 and wrote in on the bus or before going to bed or between classes. During these times, he would type he would continue his story by typing the sentences on his phones tiny keyboard. From a digital book, it got published into a paper book. Yume Hotaru's book called "First Experience" was a top-title in one of Tokyo's biggest bookstores.
Sounds like a dream come true. I've always wanted to write a book, but I'm just not sure what to write about. If I created a book from my cellphone, i would get tired. But at least my thumbs would get excercise! *thumbs up

+ Free iPhone in Japan :O

If you want a low price for an iPhone, you should think about getting airplane tickets to Japan. Starting from Friday, Softbank Mobile will give anyone a free 8GB iPhone 3G if they sign a two-year contact. But if customers want a 16GB iPhone, then it'll cost them $118 (reduced from $350). Better hurry, because this ends in May!
I think this is amazing but why do they have to end so soon? I WANT AN IPHONE. :<
I need to go to Japan. ;)

+ Happiness... :)

Does the Internet really make people happy? They think that facebook really helps in connecting people with each other. Internet is used everywhere and friends are allowed to chat, laugh, talk, giggle, scream, shout, at each other whenever they want (just don't expect a quick response!).
But maybe too much Internet isn't good. We need to interact with each other not through emails; face to face. It's more...let's say, lively that way. Buttt....this way creates happiness and where there's happiness, I'm there. :)

+ So Many Colorrrs~!

Apple has produced new iPod nanos and they have so many colors! -.-
But that's not the point. ;) They have a 'stunning' 3.5 inch screen, integrated volume controls, built-in speaker, a genius playlist creation, and much more.
If you would like, see the pictures on this website (and you'll see what i mean by the many colors. -wink, wink-): http://news.cnet.com/2300-1041_3-6246366-1.html?tag=mncol
They also have pictures of the iPod touch! :)

+ No Connection? No Problem.

On Wednesday, Google showed that on iPhones you can go on gmail -- even if you're offline! In January, they did the same for laptops and computers and now they're putting it into the iPhone! (I need to get me one of those. I envy you AA.) I think that's pretty cool and they said they're trying to get google to be on offline also. Check out this picture:
